Aggravating “white” noise
Other voices are drowned in the deafening sound
Proof replaced by belief
The people’s will stolen by a popular thief

Disinformation
Widens the gap
Truth in the eye of the bot holder
A critical thinking lapse
Lacking empathy, the discourse gets colder
Encouraging coward bigots
To become bolder

Spoon fed our biases as truth
Deliberate lies become proof instead
We find ourselves tempered by tyrants and vultures
Who feed off the living and gorge on the dead

A failing culture of lies
built on fear in the guise
Of security offering salvation
We're all complicit as dull lives idly pass by
